Sporting a highly desirable early serial number 80002333, this scarce handgun was manufactured in 1991 during the short-lived, legendary contract between Mauser and the FÉG factory in Hungary. Masterfully styled after John Browning's iconic Hi-Power design, the 80SA features deep, high-gloss factory bluing, premium Mauser roll-marks, an external ring hammer, and checkered walnut grips. Notably, the 80SA omitted the standard magazine disconnect safety, delivering a significantly crisper, smoother single-action trigger pull than traditional Hi-Powers.Surviving examples of the 80SA are incredibly rare due to a strict total production run of only 3,200 units between 1990 and 1995. Finding an early 1991 production example complete with its original factory cardboard box represents an exceptional acquisition opportunity for the serious military arms archivist, Mauser purist, or Browning Hi-Power connoisseur.
