Bearing serial number 80003668, this fascinating handgun was manufactured in 1992 as part of a highly limited, short-lived contract between Mauser and the legendary FÉG factory in Hungary. Built as a premium, faithful clone of John Browning’s revered Hi-Power design, the 80SA sports deep factory bluing, an external ring hammer, checkered walnut target grips, and standard 13-round high-capacity magazine geometry. Crucially, the 80SA improves upon the original Hi-Power design by omitting the restrictive magazine disconnect safety, resulting in a much crisper trigger pull.With a total production run of only 3,200 units between 1990 and 1995, surviving examples are incredibly scarce. This premier collector's lot comes complete with its original factory cardboard box.
