During this process, the compressor temporarily stops while the fan continues to operate, allowing the frost to thaw. Once the defrost cycle is complete, the dehumidifier resumes normal operation. This feature conserves energy and helps extend the lifespan of the unit. Kindly Note: During the defrost cycle, you may notice a decrease in moisture removal until the coils are fully clear and the unit can return to its regular operation.
