Important work of an antique German gray stained glass box titled Hawk in Evening etched scene 1.5"H x 4"W x 2.75"D by Canadian artist Thoreau MacDonald. Thoreau MacDonald (1901-1989) was the only son of Group of Seven painter J.E.H. MacDonald. Because of his colour blindness his works were done in black, gray and white.
