Barrel. An English glazed ceramic biscuit barrel featuring a hand-painted scene of a sailing galleon at sea set against a sky-blue ground, finished with a cobalt blue rim decorated with gilded floral scrolling. The piece is fitted with an EPNS silver-plated collar, swing handle, and cover. Impressed shape number 1004 to the underside. 7x6x7 inches
