Unknown Lake Chautauqua 6.125" long | .75" wide | 1.25 tall | 11.75" jig stick Seymour style fish with fairly rare carved hatching on the sides. Small carved mouth and gill with typical leather tail slot. Spearing on Lake Chautauqua was banned in 1905, making authentic working Chautauqua fish decoy quite old compared to fish decoys in general.Condition: Structurally original with heavy in-use working paint. Small sliver of wood reapplied to right cheek.
