George Strunk (b.1958) Glendora, NJ c.2024 6.75" beak to tail 6.25" tall An exceptional grouse carving with wonderful paint representing some of Strunk's best efforts in a small scale piece. Slightly turned head with relief carved feathering on the lower back and carved tail feathers. Glass eyes and carved bill with some rasping in the tufted crest.
