This collection of white cotton and linen child and baby christening slips showcases Victorian and Edwardian craftsmanship. The garments feature intricate broderie anglaise eyelet, delicate lace trims, and decorative pintucking. Traditional gathered waistbands and scalloped hems characterize these heirloom pieces, some of which include original drawstring or shell button closures. No manufacturer labels are visible. The longest garment measures 43 inches in length. These antique garments are in good condition with minor yellowing and light foxing expected from long-term storage. Occasional small pinholes and light wear to the lace edges are present, consistent with age and use. All items exhibit typical storage wear.
