This early Victorian child's pull carriage features a black painted wooden body with gold pinstriping and a leather fanned cover. It is exceptionally constructed with large wood and metal wheels and functional leaf spring suspension. The interior features a blue wool fabric upholstered seat, possibly an early replacement. A wooden pull pole with a T-shaped handle completes the frame. Length 58 inches, height 36 inches, width 24 inches. Wear consistent with age. Leather cover shows minor areas of surface cracking and stiffness. Painted body has expected chips and scratches. Iron chassis exhibits surface oxidation and rust. Wool fabric remains in good condition.
