This antique child's stroller was manufactured by the C.E.M. CO. in Geneva, Illinois, and features a unique 1910 patented pivoting backrest design. The cart consists of a black metal frame on iron spoke wheels with a long wooden push-pull handle and two-way steps. The wooden handle is stamped in black ink reading C E M Co Geneva IL U.S.A. 57 inches long by 18 inches wide. This piece presents in well-loved antique condition, showing character-rich oxidation to the iron wheels and metal bracing. The wood and original upholstery exhibit a weathered patina consistent with age. Denting to metal wheel covers.
