1986 J GERMANY 1 PFENNIG COPPER PLATED COIN 1986-J Germany 1 Pfennig Copper Plated Steel Coin KM# 105 This 1986-J West Germany 1 Pfennig is a copper plated steel coin minted in Hamburg, denoted by the J mint mark. The obverse features the traditional German oak seedling, symbolizing growth and strength, along with the inscription Bundesrepublik Deutschland. The reverse displays a large numeral 1 between two oak leaves. This uncirculated example is a historic piece of German currency from the pre-Euro era, featuring a distinctive copper finish over a magnetic steel core.
