Great Western Railway 1863 Plaque Wooden Trunk -This lot consists of (1) wooden trunk with reinforced metal bands, metal corner hardware, rope side handles, and an interior Great Western Railway plaque dated 1st August 1863. -Dimensions: Approximately as shown in the photos. -Material/ Brand/ Color: Wood and metal / Great Western Railway / Brown and dark brown. -Ideal Use: Railway memorabilia display, decorative storage, or collector display. -Additional Features: Features a hinged lid, metal-reinforced edges and corners, riveted hardware, rope handles, and a spacious wooden interior. The inside of the lid includes a Great Western Railway plaque and a partially preserved decorative printed illustration. -Condition: Shows significant scratches, scuffs, discoloration, finish wear, oxidation, and rust throughout the trunk. The interior and printed illustration show substantial wear, staining, and areas of loss. Rope handles show fraying and wear.
