The PVC DWV soil pipe adapter features a hub x spigot connection and connects PVC DWV pipe and soil pipe. Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is the most frequently specified of all thermoplastic materials because of its light weight, durability, and cost-effectiveness. PVC DWV is easy to install and is joined by solvent cementing or threading. PVC fittings exhibit high corrosion and chemical resistance and will not rust, scale, pit or corrode. PVC requires use of a primer before cementing. Used in non-pressurized waste water removal. Maximum service temperature 140F. Note: product may vary by store. Use with clamp or rubber sleeve. "3 X 4 I.D. and 3 1/8 X 4 1/8 O.D.". Adapts PVC to cast iron. Do not test or use with compressed air or other gases. 3 X 4 in. Inside Diameter and 3 1/8 X 4 1/8 in. Outside Diameter.
