Jean-Claude Picot (French, 1933–2020), colorful Parisian canal scene depicting a bridge, boats, pedestrians and surrounding architecture. Color serigraph on paper, pencil-signed by Picot at the lower right and marked E.A. 27/50 at the lower left, denoting an épreuve d’artiste or artist’s-proof edition. Presented under glass with blue-accent matting in a gilt frame. Scattered marks and age-related wear are visible on the glazing, mat and frame. The work has not been examined outside the frame. Exact title is presently unknown. Presented under glass with blue-accent matting in a gilt frame measuring approximately 15.5 inches high × 16 inches wide. Artwork has not been examined outside the frame.
