This piece is an intricately carved elephant and lotus flower necklace. We did quite a lot of research on this necklace and we are fairly certain it is carved from bone. It is not resin or any resin like substance, as we used the hot pin test and nothing happened. We didn't see any Schreger lines which would indicate ivory. It's a beautiful necklace that clearly took a very long time to create. We believe this is a vintage piece.
