Assorted political buttons including several from Nixon's 1960 campaign. This is the race he lost to Kennedy/Johnson. There's also a button from Ted Kennedy's 1980 presidential run. Kennedy lost to Jimmy Carter in the primary. Carter lost to Reagan in the presidential The final piece is very interesting. It is a 1925 pin which was sold to raise money to preserve Old Ironsides. Old Ironsides was a nickname for the USS Constitution. The ship has the distinction of being the oldest commissioned warship still afloat.
