Pair of vintage Japanese children figurines. The pieces are marked Japan in red ink on the bottom. This would indicate that they were made before the occupation of Japan from 1948 to 1952. Red ink does not necessarily indicate that piece was made during the occupation. Those pieces are marked Occupied Japan.
