Central Machinery, model 787 5-speed wood lathe, April 1985. This Taiwan-made unit features a 3/4 HP motor and a cast iron headstock with a plate reading CENTRAL MACHINERY 12 INCH 5 SPEED WOOD LATHE MODEL NO: 787. It arrives complete withthe original instruction manual, dual tool rests, and a bowl turning faceplate mounted on a custom stand. 42 x 54 x 16 inches.Crisp corners and bold colors on the original manual highlight this well-maintained piece. The chrome bed tube is reflective, showing only light workshop dust consistent with careful vintage use.
