Oneida Community, Milady pattern, 1940. This extensive silverplate service features a 12-place setting housed in a cream-colored wooden canteen. The interior lid lining bears a printed script mark reading Community THE FINEST SILVERPLATE. The collection includes dinner knives, forks, spoons, and serving pieces, plus modernist South Seas pattern items. Each piece displays the elegant floral and scrolled motifs of mid-century design. This vintage set presents well. The wooden canteen features crisp corners and a clean finish (photo 6). The interior felt remains a vibrant sage green (photo 2). Moderate surface tarnish is visible (photo 3).
