A large hand-carved wooden swan decoy presented in a preening pose with a gracefully arched neck. The piece features a distressed antiqued white-wash finish with carved indentations suggesting feather patterns. It is detailed with a black beak and inset dark-amber eyes. The flat, unpainted wood base reveals natural grain and shows no maker marks or signatures. 9.5 inches tall, 18 inches x 7 inches wide. Good condition with intentional distressed finish. Minor surface scuffs are visible on the unpainted base consistent with handling. No chips, cracks, or repairs are present.
