Both the fountain and the bottle filler use touchless dispensing with multiple infrared sensors keeping the unit germ-free. Bottle filler has a digital display showing how many bottles have been saved with this unit. There is a filter indicator letting you know when to change the filters. This water fountain is bottle-less with an NSF certified activated carbon filter listed as model Avalon A4 filter and a sediment filter listed as model Avalon A5 filter along with a water line that can be attached to your water source. The water is taken from your water source and filtered through the filters and then through the machine's high efficiency cold water tank. The filters will purify the tap water eliminating any chlorine, lead, rust, and bacteria. Filters will last 6-months or 1500 gal. and can be changed via the side panel of the unit. The unit has a built-in drain with a drain line that will run directly to your drain pipe. There is also a built-in leak detector to automatically monitor the water flow from the water source into the machine. We have incorporated a self-clean UV function which will automatically clean the water before exiting the spout with the built-in UV LED. The water cooler is UL listed and is ADA compliant.
