Vintage selection of a Lionel brand train engine and cars, perfect for any hobbyist or collector. Trains are untested in direct working conditions but hold great conditional representation. Natural wear present due to age but the items hold great rustic appeal. All trains appear to be O-Gauge designation. The first item within the lot is a Lionel 1689E Engine modeled loosely after the “Commodore Vanderbilt” design. It is a classic prewar model, assumed to be produced around 1973-1939. It is gunmetal grey in color and made of tinplate. The engine also has a matching tender of the same color. The accompanying cars consist of three 1679 Baby Ruth cars, a 1680 Sonoco tank car, and a 1682 caboose. All cars hold great presence for their age.
