Excellent selection of a vintage metal butter churn, perfect for any collector. A highly sought after piece of early American dairy history, these unique churns of yesteryear are prized by collectors for their industrial design, mechanical gears, and rustic farmhouse patina. Unlike standard stoneware crocks or glass churns, completely metal or tin churns typically featured a standalone canister supported by heavy cast-iron frames as well as well as complex hand-crank gear assembly. This direct item measures 19.5” H x 12” W (including crank) x 8” D. The item obviously holds established wear due to age but excels in its rustic features. It is possible that there was once a lid with the item at one time, but it was not included with this direct item. Crank can turn with minimal effort, showcasing the gears in movement.
