Measures 6 in. tall. The Design: This specific form is a squat, globular urn accented by two sweeping, sleek handles attached at the rim and shoulder. It heavily reflects the popular Art Deco and Neoclassic aesthetics of the early to mid-1930s. The Glaze: The finish is a matte, soft gradient glaze transitioning from a sun yellow base up toward a pale, subtle green hue near the top rim. RumRill was highly celebrated for these types of multi-colored, blended matte finishes. Production History: Because it bears the impressed RumRill mark on the bottom, it was specifically produced during George Rumrill’s partnership with Red Wing Pottery in Minnesota between 1932 and 1937
