The Maritimes Campus Store specialized in supplying tailored custom leather outer garments for the local Canadian military personnel stationed right there at CFB Halifax Because the store was located in Canada's largest East Coast naval hub, members of the crew stationed on the HMCS Nipigon destroyer went directly to the Quinpool Road shop to have their specialized department patches custom-sewn onto these classic leather blanks.The store has since closed, making garments featuring the original "Maritime Campus Store" inner neck label highly collectible pieces of Canadian naval and East Coast retail history.
