This auction lot features an antique roll-rim clawfoot bathtub manufactured by the Standard Sanitary Manufacturing Company. The underside of the heavy cast iron basin retains clear historical makers marks, displaying the SSMCo Standard logo along with embossed production dates from February 7, 1922. The tub stands on four traditional cast iron ball-and-claw feet and includes its vintage metal faucet fixtures with an integrated drain assembly hole. The interior basin showcases a white porcelain enamel finish that displays significant grime build-up, surface stains, and minor edge chips from decades of farm storage, while the raw cast iron exterior exhibits a weathered patina and areas of peeling paint.
