R Serial # 57989. .32 Colt caliber double action revolver with a 2-1/2” barrel. The bore is excellent, clean with strong rifling. First Model made in 1912. It was the first modern double action revolver with a swing out cylinder. The blued metal finish on the barrel, frame and cylinder is a re-blue and is in very good to excellent condition showing little wear with some underlying marks. There is evidence of buffing. The original black checkered grips are in good condition showing light wear with a small chip out of the bottom of the right panel. The action works fine. The First Model was made from 1905 to 1927.
