Serial # 443293. .50 caliber black powder flintlock rifle with a 29” octagon barrel. The bore is poor with rust and fouling. Double set triggers. The blued metal finish on the barrel is in poor to fair condition showing a covering of moderate to heavy rust. The lock plate, hammer and frizzen are mostly a brown patina with a covering of moderate to heavy rust. The plain walnut stock is in fair condition showing numerous dings and scratches with finish wear and some black paint on the wrist. The brass butt plate, patch box, trigger guard and nose piece are heavily tarnished. Replacement fiber optic front and adjustable rear sights, the front fiber optic element is missing. The action works fine. Includes the ramrod.
