Sorrel 3 Year Old from Twin Peaks CA HMA Plot Twist (Twister) is a 14-hand, solid black BLM Mustang from Antelope, Nevada, and truly a special horse. After my original competition horse, Sparky, was unexpectedly withdrawn, Twister stepped in nearly six weeks behind the competition. By the time of the event, he will have only had 100 days of training, yet he has exceeded every expectation. He is quiet, willing, confident, and eager to please. Under saddle, he is soft, responsive, and dependable with excellent brakes. He is equally comfortable riding out alone or with a group, handles new environments with ease, and remains calm in chaotic situations. He is the kind of horse you can trust, whether in the arena, on the trail, or around the ranch. His temperament and tolerance are what truly set him apart. Twister can be ridden bareback and in a halter, stands quietly for the farrier, loads and hauls well, stands tied patiently, and is respectful on the ground. Twister is the complete package: kind, athletic, intelligent, and genuinely enjoyable to work with. I’ve had numerous professional trainers and experienced horsemen tell me he is one in a million, and his mind, heart, and willingness continue to prove them right.
