Ltd Edition 1985 Roger Savage Silk Screen Print Of Summerville N.S 141/180. Overall Frame Size Is 34 1/8" X 26.25". Roger Savage Is A Well Known Painter And Print Maker Who Has Lived And Worked In Nova Scotia For The Last Five Decades. Roger Graduated From The Fine Arts Program At Mount Allison University, With A BFA In 1963. He Studied With Lawren Harris Junior And Alex Colville Who Were Both Members Of The Art Department At That Time. Following Graduation He Undertook Post Graduation Studies In Painting And Drawing In Malaga In Spring Following This He Returned To His Home Province And Lived And Worked In A Studio At Three Fathom Harbor On The Eastern Shore. In 1973 He Relocated To Liverpool NS Where He Has Lived Ever Since. Roger Has Exhibited Widely Throughout Canada The United States And Germany. He Has Also Been The Recipient Of A Number Of Awards Including An International Cultural Relations Award From The Department Of Foreign Affairs And International Trade In Ottawa
