Antique Primitive Wood Machinist Tool Chest Box This listing features a vintage primitive handmade wooden machinist tool chest, crafted from dark stained wood with a top metal carry handle and front drop-down hatch door. It measures 20 inches long, 11 inches tall, and 8 inches deep. The upper compartment pulls open to reveal a built-in wooden organizer tray divided into nine specialized storage slots. The lower compartment offers an open storage area for larger hand tools or supplies. The piece exhibits a heavy rustic patina, showing authentic age-related wear, scuffs, weathering, and minor wood splintering on the edges. One of the front wooden knobs is chipped, and the original metal hardware shows heavy corrosion and oxidation with a missing key. This solid chest serves as an excellent rustic storage accent piece or restoration project for collectors of antique workshop utility items.
