This vintage ceramic Thanksgiving turkey planter features highly detailed, textured molded feathers on the body and an upright fanned tail. The holiday piece is hand-painted in rich autumn tones, displaying a deep red wattle and head, a greyish-brown body, and vibrant orange and black bands accenting the large tail feathers. The center features a hollow opening perfect for small seasonal flower arrangements, succulents, or holiday candy display. Based on the bottom markings, this item is a hand-painted hobbyist piece dated 1983 and signed with the initials "MB." The planter stands approximately 6.5 inches tall to the top of the tail and measures roughly 7 inches long from the beak to the back of the tail. It is in good pre-owned vintage condition with no visible chips or cracks
