Vintage Metal Composite Ornate Angelus Bubble Glass Frames - Set of 2 Bring classic European art into your home with this beautiful vintage pair of ornate wall plaques featuring prints of Jean-Franois Millet's 1859 masterpiece, "The Angelus." This matching set breaks the famous artwork into two focused companion portraits: one depicting the peasant man bowing his head in prayer, and the other showcasing the peasant woman beside her harvest basket. Each print is housed in a heavy, highly decorative metal composite frame accented with intricate open-work scrollwork filigree and a crown-like crest at the top and bottom. The prints are beautifully preserved behind protective convex bubble glass covers that add exceptional visual depth, while the backs are finished with a rich burgundy velvet lining and attached metal rings for easy wall hanging.
