Beautiful antique cast iron sad iron trivet featuring an intricate Gothic floral / foliate design with strong architectural influence. This is a far more decorative and refined example than typical utilitarian trivets. The symmetrical scrollwork and pointed arch form give it a distinct Victorian-era aesthetic, making it highly desirable for both collectors and high-end farmhouse or architectural décor. This piece displays exceptionally well and works as both a functional antique and a statement wall piece.
