Two Limited Edition Ted Xaras Railroad Collector Plates Pair of limited-edition fine porcelain collector plates by noted railroad artist Ted Xaras: “Big Boy” – From the Forging New Frontiers Train Collection. Depicts a massive Union Pacific Big Boy steam locomotive pulling a long freight train across open prairie with mountains in the background. Reverse marked Limited Edition, limited to 95 firing days, with original production details. “Timber Line” – From the Wonders of the Rails Train Collection. Shows a steam locomotive in a forested mountain setting with figures and structures. Reverse similarly marked as a limited-edition plate by Ted Xaras. Both plates feature detailed color artwork of classic American steam locomotives. Gold rims. Standard collector-plate size (approximately 8–8½ inches). Condition appears good with no major chips or cracks visible in photos; one plate retains a small paper sticker on the reverse. Ideal for railroad enthusiasts or collectors of Ted Xaras / Bradford Exchange-style train series plates. Sold as a pair.
