1943 Field grey body with rabbit fur sides and flaps, fitted with army metal eagle and swastika. The interior has an artificial silk ribbed lining and it is maker marked and dated 1943. Size 57 WWII German Army" pelzmutzen"(winter fur cap) were issued to some troops on the eastern front during the winter campaign of 1942 and 1943. Adolf Doll & Söhne was a prominent furrier and wholesale business in raw furs and pelts (Rauchwaren) historically based at Kronenstraße 58, Berlin W 8
