WWII tropical visored cap of the Afrikakorps (DAK) Pionier (combat engineers) feldmutze M41. August Schohsburg (stamped Aug. Schohsburg) 42 (1942) 58 (size) Berlin Uniform? mutzenfabrik etc. WWII German Afrikakorps (DAK) pioneer field cap manufacturer-marked tropical overseas side cap (Feldmütze). It features specialized branch piping and distinct interior stamps. Pioneer Piping: The front national cockade is surrounded by an inverted black "V" shaped soutache or piping, which indicates the wearer belonged to the Pioniere (combat engineer/sappers) branch of the German Army (Heer).
