Bowen's Lithographic Establishment No. 94, Walnut St."This lithograph of RANT-CHE-WAI-ME Female Flying Pigeon was included in Thomas McKenney and James Hall's Indian Tribes of North America, a portfolio of Indian portraits printed from 1837-1844. McKenney, the head of the U. S. Bureau of Indian Affairs, battled to preserve parts of Native American culture. 18 x 23" framed. Crease, foxing and some staining. Wear to frame. Can be mailed without the frame.
