This is a French Model 1822 that was "Transformed" or converted from flint lock to percussion in 1856 based on the markings. Percussion pistol with curved wood grip, brass furniture and iron barrel. Proof and maker markings are visible on the lock area. Measures 13 1/2 in. long.
