Black, Edinburgh, 1838.The first edition of Loudon's important and literally groundbreaking work on landscape gardening which held great influence throughout the Victorian period. Profusely illustrated with garden designs and plans throughout. Original green cloth bindings with blind embossed decorations to boards, gilt lettering to spines. Nice condition.
