ABV1000 <br> <br>Unique vintage handcrafted gourd rattle or shaker featuring a leather-wrapped body and a dramatic spray of multicolor feathers in deep green, black, and burgundy red. The piece has a strong tribal or folk art look, with a small bulb-shaped form, stitched and wrapped construction, and a vivid feathered top that gives it striking display presence. <br> <br>The body appears to be made from a natural gourd or similar hollow form, covered in sections of aged leather or hide and secured at the neck with wrapped cord. The feather bundle is tightly set into the top and fans outward beautifully, creating movement and texture.
