Hands Are Not for Hitting is a beloved children's board book written by Martine Agassi, Ph.D. and illustrated by Marieka Heinlen. Part of the award-winning Best Behavior® series published by Free Spirit Publishing, this book helps young children learn about positive behavior and emotional expression. It teaches that while hands can be used for many good things - like helping, hugging, or waving - they are not for hitting. Through simple text and engaging illustrations, it encourages empathy, kindness, and self-control.
