It also features SmartKey re-key technology as the back-up keyway. The deadbolt is operated by electronic keypad and key outside and turn-piece inside. The crisp, clean appearance of the Satin Nickel finish reinforces the deadbolt's traditional design. Up to 50 customizable user codes and 10 one-time user codes. Responsive keypad interface uses cool white LEDs for bright LED illumination for easy code access. Fast and quiet motorized deadbolt provides 1-touch locking with a single touch of the finger. Activate the auto-locking feature and choose between 30-second, 1-minute, 3-minute, 5-minute or 10-minute time delay for convenience and peace-of-mind. Deadbolt exceeds ANSI/BHMA grade 2 security test standards. Easily installs on standard doors between 1-3/8 in. and 1-3/4 in. thick (thick door service part available for 2-1/4 in. thick doors). Large and bright LED indicator light blinks green, amber or red to indicate unlocked, locked or low battery status. Simple installation requiring a screwdriver with no hard wiring needed and supports built App 3D interactive voice, text and animation installation support. Smartcode deadbolts offer an optional programming code feature for improved access code management where a programming code is required to add or delete user codes. Deadbolt offers UL certified 20-minute fire rating. Smartcode deadbolts are easy to install, program to use and operates on 4 AA batteries with 12-month battery life (batteries not included). Easily remove the interior cover in seconds to access the batteries or programming button no screws to remove.
