This humidifier does not have a built-in battery and must remain connected to a USB power source during use. Use clean tap water only. Do not add essential oils, perfumes, distilled water, or filtered water, as they may clog the cotton wick and affect mist output. Before first use, soak the cotton wick completely in water for 3 5 minutes until fully saturated. After turning on the humidifier, please allow up to 1 minute for the mist to begin.
