This glazed porcelain figurine depicts an elderly immortal riding a caparisoned horse while holding a staff with a fish and a large coin. The decoration includes underglaze blue, polychrome enamels for facial features, and extensive gilt highlights throughout. The base and coin are inscribed with auspicious characters representing wealth and the immediate arrival of fortune.Height: 16.5 inches; Width: 10 inches.The figurine displays kiln grit and firing debris adhered to the unglazed foot rim along with minor wear to the gilt highlights on high-relief surfaces. No chips, cracks, or professional repairs were observed during inspection. Two small circular vent holes in the molded base are original to the manufacturing process.
