Five Floral Wool Needlepoint Panels

This collection contains five hand-stitched floral needlepoint panels worked in wool yarn on canvas. The pieces feature various botanical motifs including roses and mixed bouquets set against vibrant magenta, deep burgundy, dark brown, royal blue, and cream backgrounds. One cream colored panel bears the printed mark Scotch Canvas along the lower edge.Magenta panel stitched area: 15 x 11 inchesDark burgundy panel stitched area: 19 x 14 inchesDark brown panel stitched area: 16 x 15 inchesRoyal blue panel stitched area: 21 x 21 inchesCream panel stitched area: 21 x 16 inches.Mixed condition. All panels exhibit frayed edges and irregular borders consistent with unfinished or salvaged textiles. The dark brown panel has a significant 8 inch horizontal tear at the bottom center of the stitched field. The cream panel shows localized brown staining at the top center. The royal blue panel has numerous loose threads on the reverse, and the burgundy panel is unevenly trimmed.
