This reproduction lithograph print, attributed to Achille Devéria, depicts a noblewoman in historical dress from the era of Henri IV. The work features elaborate hand-coloring on a patterned 16th-century style gown with a prominent lace ruff. It is presented in an ornate foliate molded frame with a dark metallic finish and includes an illegible cursive signature at the lower right.Frame: 23 x 20 in.The paper exhibits even toning throughout the image area. The frame shows minor surface wear and small scattered chips to the molded finish, and the backing paper has a large tear at the top.
