This original hand-painted intaglio etching by Michigan artist Lynn Meiners depicts a raccoon in a detailed circular composition. The subject is shown amidst flora including raspberries and Queen Anne’s Lace, rendered with fine line work and finished with Winsor-Newton watercolors. The print is an Artist's Proof (A.P.), signed and titled in pencil along the bottom curve, and housed in a gold-tone metal frame under glass.Plate size: 4.5 inch diameter circleFrame size: 10.5 x 10 inches.The artwork appears in very good condition with no visible foxing, toning, or fading to the paper or colors. The gold-tone frame is structurally sound with only minor handling wear to the metal edges.
