A group of three mid-20th century Italian decorative plaques produced by Florentia and MC Imports. The collection features a rectangular panel depicting a view of the Florence Cathedral, inscribed Firenze Scorcio del Duomo, and two shield-shaped plaques with pastoral landscape scenes. Each work is a print on wood with an integral gilded and stippled gesso border in the traditional Florentine style. Labels on the reverse identify the items as handmade in Italy. Rectangular plaque: 10.5 x 6 in.Shaped plaques: 9.25 x 5.25 in.The plaques are in fair condition. The central panel exhibits a full-length vertical split visible on the reverse. The upper portions of the landscape scenes show prominent dark spotting and foxing. All three pieces display scattered chipping, edge wear, and loss to the gilded gesso borders.
