This collection comprises three early 20th-century hardcover volumes including Hans Christian Andersen's Fairy Tales and Stories, Victoria Cross's The Life Sentence, and Peter B. Kyne's The Enchanted Hill. The Andersen volume is published by A. L. Burt and features twenty-two page illustrations, while the Kyne volume is a 1924 Grosset & Dunlap edition with a color frontispiece by Dean Cornwell. Each work is bound in publisher's decorative cloth and issued in an octavo format.Measurements: 7.5 x 5.25 inches.The Andersen volume is in poor condition with a completely split front hinge, detached text block, and frayed spine ends. The Kyne and Cross volumes show moderate shelf wear, sun-darkened spines, and age-toning to the internal pages. All volumes are offered without dust jackets.
